Basic Safe Electric Fuel Pump Wiring Diagram This is the basic wiring diagram for SAFE electric fuel pump wiring. The diagram is color coded per circuit and only a few things may need to be said. Fuel pump wiring for the RED circuit is generally going to carry a much higher current than the relay. So use a larger gauge wire for lower voltage drop. Throttle body wiring schematic needed. I bought it from a friend who didn't have money to put into it. When I got it to the house and popped the hood and to my surprise the wires going to the throttle body had been cut and the plug was missing. So I went to the junk yard and cut one off of it.
