This Painless wire harness is designed to be used in the 1987-1991 Jeep YJ. All wire is 600 volt, 275 F, TXL. Standard automotive wire is GPT, 300 volt, 176 F, with PVC insulation. This complete YJ wiring system has been designed with four major sections incorporated into it: We have hooked up everything the way the painless wiring harness instuctions/jeep tech service manual has said but the alternator isn't charging when the ignition is on.
